hummus chimera

FODDER

SPICES
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp ajwaan seeds
2 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp salt

FRESH OR CAN
15oz canned chickpeas
8 garlic cloves, smashed
8 stalks of celery
1/4 onion chopped
8 olives pitted

LIQUIDS
2 tbsp tahini
4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
4 tbsp water
4 tbsp lemon juice

PROCESS

I used a mortar and pestle to grind up my cumin and ajwaan seeds
Drain the chickpeas and rinse

Combine the

chickpeas,
lemon juice,
garlic,
ground cumin,
ground ajwaan,
salt,
tahini,
olives,
paprika,
water

in a food processor, and blend to a creamy purée.

Sautee the onion in olive oil until starting to brown then dowse with olive juice and let it cook down.
Toss this into food processor and blend it in.

Taste it!
This is definitely not good yet.
Time will tell if it gets better.
